Well, here I am. In the airport. Ready to head off on another adventure.
This time, to a place I have been before. Though this will be my second time back to the Stairway Foundation in the Philippines, this experience will be very different from the last time I was there. For starters, last time I went with 3 dear friends. This time, I am going completely alone. I will also be doing research this time, instead of volunteering for the foundation. Both of these things are exciting and terrifying at the same time.
I can't wait to finally get there after all of this planing! I know I will be challenged in many ways over the course of the next 11 weeks, but I also know that it will be an experience of a lifetime.
I keep pinching myself to remind myself this is real, when I think of how blessed I have been to have so many of these opportunities at experiences of a lifetime.
So in short, I will be continuing to update this blog, per usual, with pictures and updates on my life over the next few months.
